Sigh, I Love This Kid

Ok, I ain't gonna lie...I missed my kid. It's WONDERFUL to get away and be able to do and go as you please, but as I looked at the pictures on my digital camera and came across this one, I teared up just a little bit.

What a cute picture! I am the same way. I don't know how you survived a whole weekend without your baby girl. Both my parents and in-laws have asked several times if they could keep our little princess, and I just can't do it. My MIL gets so mad because she tells me "it's not like she's staying at a stranger's house, and you have to worry about her". I know she's not going to a stranger's house, but I LOVE spending every second with my girl. I don't want to be away from her. She'd be fine. Mommy's the one that would go through withdrawal! You definitely realize how much you're attached when you aren't with them for a certain period of time. It kills me to go to work every day, and leave her with the babysitter.

I am glad you had a nice time. I'd like a mini-vaca with my boy, too (but not childless..... YET!! :o))

I think Kayleigh's parents both have blog links on her blog. I haven't really checked them out; just her blog. I can't imagine going through that, either. I sit here and bawl over all of these babies!! I just feel privileged to be able to pray for them and their families. Have you read Audrey Caroline's blog? It's http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com. THAT story made me bawl and bawl (if you go back to the summer months, you see pictures of her in this tiny casket, and her parents and sisters are kissing it... sooooooo heartbreaking!). So did CFHusband when Gwyneth Rose was first born. I hate to say it, but I take it for granted that God gave me a healthy baby. After reading these stories I try not to because of what these parents have to go through. They definitely have a special place in my heart!!

Very cute picture...I can only imagine that it's a mixed blessing to be able to have some time away!

Hope you had a wonderful time!
